Dalmatian Stone is the trade name for a Peraklakine rock, more commonly known as Dalmatian Jasper, also known as Aplite. 

​Its properties reflect the characteristics of a Dalmatian​ dog, attracting loyalty and strengthening relationships.  This is a stone that works gently and slowly.  It nurtures and grounds us, helping us to feel safe and secure.  Imagine looking at a group of Dalmatians puppies playing and you'll get the feeling feeling of happiness and not taking life too seriously that Dalmatian Stone brings.  

​While it is commonly known as Dalmatian Jasper, it isn't a Jasper but an igneous rock composed of tiny grains of White Albite (a feldspar) and black grains of Amphibole Afvedsonite.  It's more accurate name is Dalmatian Jasper.  We initially wanted to correct it's name on our website but figured anyone searching for "Dalmatian Jasper" wouldn't find what they were looking for ... so for now we will keep our collection of Dalmatian Stone named as Dalmatian Jasper.

CARE:  Dalmatian Stone is fairly robust but as a softer crystal it should be protected from sharp objects
