Rhodonite, also called Manganese Spar and Manganolite, is a crystal of love and protection and is particularly helpful for healing past emotional hurt or shock.  It's a nurturing stone that helps us accept, forgive and reconcile, it's pink loving energy contrasts with it's black inclusions of Manganese, teaching us that love isn't about expectations, but acceptance and loving the good with the bad.

HISTORY

Rhodonite was first discovered by C. F. Jasche in 1819. It was named from the Greek word Greek word "rhodos," meaning "rose coloured.

COLOURS:   Pink, rose-pink to brownish red, red, gray and yellow.  Black inclusions caused but Manganese Oxide fracture fillers or dendrites.
