Howlite is in our personal Top 10 Crystals as our "go-to" calming crystal.  Holding Howlite washes away worry and fills us with a calm, peaceful energy.  It's great for over-thinkers, a lovely crystal to calm worried thoughts, it settles us and it helps us get a peaceful night sleep.

HISTORY
Can be confused with Magnesite.  

Howlite is very porous and is often dyed and sold as the more expense mineral, Turquoise.  

Howlite was discovered in 1868 by a Canadian chemist, geologist and mineralogist, Henry How.  It was named soon after by an American geologist, James Dwight Dana.

    CARE:  Howlite is a soft stone, so it can easily be scratched and is porous,  keep away from sharp objects, cleaning products and don't immerse in water.
