Orca Agate, also called Orca Stone, is a calming, grounding crystal that attracts peace and harmony.  It's Yin-Yang energies remind us that the universe contains two forces, constantly moving, constantly changing, two opposite forces needing each other to retain balance and showing us that nothing is every truly black or white.

HISTORY and OVERVIEW
Orca Agate was only introduced to the market in 2010.  Orca Agate is a Chalcedony, named after the Orca whale due to the similarity of it's white, black, blue-grey colouring and the markings on Orca whales.

APPEARANCE and VARIATIONS

COLOURS:  Black to blue to grey colouring with distinctive white markings, most likely due to "patina", an opal that forms when stream / river water interacts with the agate.
