Pineapple Calcite is also called Lemon or Yellow Calcite.  It's a beautiful uplifting crystal, just looking at it fills me with energy... much like an energy drink but without all the nasty chemicals.  You can even make your own energy drink with it by gridding 4 pieces around a water jug or bottle, or sitting a jug on top of a coaster and let the energy of the crystal infuse your water.  Next pop your water in the fridge and drink whenever you need an energy boost.  Pineapple calcite is also good for lifting our confidence and bringing joy, this is a crystal of positivity!

HISTORY and OVERVIEW

Calcite is a rock forming mineral that is extremely common.  It's found throughout the world in sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks.  Some geologists consider Calcite to be a "ubiquitous mineral", one that is found everywhere. 

Calcite is one of the most widely used minerals, used in construction, as an abrasive, agricultural soil treatment, pigment, pharmaceutical and more.

Aragonite will change to calcite within days at temperatures exceeding 300 °C.
