Moss Jasper

Nurturing •  Grounding  •  Calming

Moss Jasper is when dendritic inclusions form in a Jasper rock.  Similar to Moss Agate, except forming in opaque Jasper instead of translucent Agate.  The moss-like inclusions may be green, yellow, brown or red depending on the levels of oxidation of the iron in the hornblende / chlorite inclusions.  

As with all Jaspers, Moss Jasper is a "super nurturer", supporting us in stressful situations, bringing calm, tranquility and wholeness.  This is a grounding and comforting stone that absorbs negative energies.
