Bladed

Bladed is the term for the habit of crystals that are long and flat, they form in the shape of a knife blade.  

Bladed crystals are longer than they are wide, and wider than they are deep.  Their ends sometimes taper to a point.

They can grow as a single crystal, a cluster of many parallel crystals, or radiate a fan shape

Examples are:

• Gypsum
• Kyanite
