Lemon Quartz, like most Citrine, is Amethyst that has been heat treated.  Only Amethyst with a particular atom combination will turn yellow after heating (naturally or artificially).  When Amethyst that has been heat treated with iron, Lemon Quartz is created.  This process increases its energetic vibration, making this one of the most powerful crystals for our Solar Plexus. ​

Lemon Quartz is an uplifting crystal that increases our motivation and helps us think more positively.  It's also helpful for making decisions by bringing clarity and focus.  Lemon Quartz releases negative energy and replaces it with positive.
